The Studio

Aesthetic Functionality is a remodel planning and design studio built around process.

We believe renovation should begin with clarity — not guesswork.

Before construction starts, layouts must function, circulation must be resolved, and decisions must be aligned. Our studio exists to lead that planning phase with structure, intention, and collaboration.

We do not rush to finishes.
We do not begin with trends.
We begin with how the home will actually work.

Our Approach

Every remodel carries layers of complexity — spatial, structural, financial, and emotional.

Our role is to simplify that complexity.

Inside the studio, we:

• Evaluate how clients live by asking thoughtful questions during our consultation
• Reconfigure layout and flow
• Develop detailed 3D models
• Coordinate with architects when structural changes are required
• Align with trusted contractors for construction execution

We resolve decisions early so construction moves forward confidently.

That is the foundation of thoughtful renovation.

Leadership

Aesthetic Functionality is led by Michelle Roche, Remodel Planning Lead.

With a background in project leadership and construction coordination, Michelle brings structure and accountability to the renovation process. Her strength lies in guiding complex decisions, aligning professionals, and protecting the integrity of the homeowner’s investment.

Rather than operating as a traditional design firm, the studio functions as a planning authority — bridging the gap between vision and execution.

We know our lane.
We respect the lanes of architects and contractors.
And we collaborate accordingly.

Good design is not just about how a space looks it’s about functions, feels, and flows in everyday life.

We believe talent should be matched by responsibility.

Renovations affect how families live every day. They carry financial weight, structural implications, and long-term impact.

Our responsibility is to guide that process thoughtfully — so homeowners feel confident not only in the outcome, but in the decisions that led there.

Philosophy

Your Remodel Begins with a Plan.

We begin every remodel with an in-person planning consultation — discussing layout goals, renovation scope, and next steps before construction begins.
